BitaBakery — Digital Dessert Studio
Customer stories . 2021
A visual, customizable, and guided dessert-ordering platform that transforms Instagram DM chaos into a structured, immersive shopping experience.

01
The Vision
BitaBakery began as a boutique dessert studio on Instagram — handcrafted macarons, artistic wedding cakes, dessert tables, and a growing line of healthy treats. But as demand grew, the limits of selling through DMs became impossible to ignore.
Their question was simple:
“How do we turn our dessert artistry into a digital experience that feels just as playful, flexible, and premium?”
Customers wanted to:
— Build custom cakes
— Specify colors, flavors, styles
— Share inspiration photos
— Ask about ingredients and dietary constraints
— Order healthy swaps or macro-friendly desserts
But the process was messy:
Endless DMs, screenshots, inconsistent pricing, and no structure around customization.
BitaBakery needed a flexible platform that could:
Show products in rich detail
Support deep customization
Guide customers through complex orders
Maintain the boutique, hand-crafted charm
And it had to turn organic DM chaos into a curated digital experience.

A motion-rich, 3D-inspired interface that lets customers rotate, tilt, and explore desserts from every angle, creating a premium, immersive shopping experience.
A structured yet flexible menu system that organizes BitaBakery’s chaotic product lineup while keeping creativity, customization, and seasonal magic intact.
A guided creation flow where customers can choose occasions, set dietary rules, customize flavors and décor, and finalize detailed, high-value orders with confidence.
An integrated chat that replaces Instagram DMs, giving customers real-time guidance while allowing the bakery team to review configurations, suggest upgrades, and streamline communication.
02
Complex Menu at Scale Without Losing Creativity
BitaBakery’s challenge wasn’t just operational — it was conceptual.
Their offering was intentionally fluid:
cakes, tarts, dessert tables, healthy snacks, seasonal drops, custom creations, and “secret menu” items.
The complexity created real problems:
A 3D-inspired, motion-responsive interface that turns desserts into interactive objects. Customers can rotate, tilt, zoom, and explore every detail — making the ordering experience feel premium, playful, and deeply visual.
A guided configurator that simplifies even the most complex custom orders. Users choose occasions, set dietary needs, customize flavors and décor, and finalize designs with clarity — reducing back-and-forth and unlocking more creative orders.
Taming the chaos without killing the magic
The catalog had no clean structure.
We needed to organize it while protecting the creativity that defined the brand.
High-value bid approvals
Accurate accounting
Stable media deliver
Showing, not telling
Instagram photos weren’t enough.
Customers needed:
3D-like perspectives
Layer views
Color previews
Height/scale understanding
Simplifying complex orders
Wedding cakes, fitness meal plans, corporate events — each had completely different requirements.
Subscriptions & VIP tiers
Order management
Shipping orchestration
Accounting, fees, commissions
Auctions with complex timing rules
All while staying cost-aware, fast, and scalable for a growing startup.
Together, these elements transform BitaBakery from an Instagram-driven business into a curated digital dessert studio.Together, these elements transform BitaBakery from an Instagram-driven business into a curated digital dessert studio.
